        WARNING: FitN30, LLC, (CrossfitN30) is a high performance training facility, NOT a "gym" in the traditional sense of the word. If you are serious about getting into the best shape of your life, improving your athletic performance, and working HARD to achieve your fitness goals, you are in the right place. If you are looking to pay a few bucks a month so you can come in, walk on a treadmill, use a few machines, curl some five pound dumbbells, and feel like you have "worked out," this is NOT the place for you.
       Does that mean you have to be "in shape" before you join us? Absolutely not! We work with people of all shapes, ages, sizes and abilities. We are here to help you achieve your highest level of fitness so you look and feel your best.
       Each of our clients is personally coached through every training session by CrossFit-certified trainers. We run, we jump, we push and pull, we flip tires and shove sleds, and we lift heavy weights. Here, we work toward achieving elite fitness, not the illusion of fitness. Not everyone is driven enough, disciplined enough or motivated enough to commit to this type of lifestyle. We are, and if you are, you are welcome to join us. If you are just looking for a bargain and a "gym membership," there are plenty of Globo-gyms out there you can join for $10 a month. We hope you choose more for yourself--personal coaching, nutritional counseling, results--because there is nothing quite like the feeling of accomplishment you get from conquering a CrossFitN30 workout and finally achieving your goals. But don't say we didn't warn you.

What is Crossfit?
Crossfit is a fitness philosophy that embraces the concept of performing constantly varied, highly functional movements at a high intensity to achieve maximum benefit. We do this by combining Olympic weightlifting moves with gymnastics and metabolic conditioning. The end result is a fast, effective (and fun) workout that simultaneously increases your strength and endurance.

CrossFits are popping up everywhere now. CrossFitN30 was the second CrossFit to open in Seminole County. We are conveniently located near the Seminole Towne Center Mall, on Rinehart Road near SR 46, and serve the Lake Mary/Heathrow/Sanford community. Our coaches are certified, experienced, supportive and knowledgable. Our focus is on providing a safe, fun, yet challenging, environment for athletes of all ages, sizes and fitness levels.

We work with you to achieve YOUR fitness goals--not OUR fitness goals. If you want to be an elite athlete, we are more than qualified to help you achieve that goal. If you want to compete in an upcoming race, obstacle run or marathon, we can help you train for optimal performance. We also can help busy people who just want to come in, spend about 30 to 45 minutes a day on improving their health, fitness, and physical and mental well-being, and then get on with other important demands in their lives.

Our focus here at CrossFitN30 is not how heavy WE can lift, or how fast WE can run. Our focus is on YOUR growth as an athlete, and helping you get in the best shape of your life. To us, the fun is not in the after-party after the WOD, then fun IS the WOD.

Do I Have to "Pass" a "Foundations" Course First?
No, you do not. Members of CrossFitN30 are integrated into classes from the start. Each class is likely to have beginners, intermediate and advanced Crossfitters participating at the same time. This serves several purposes: 1) We believe one of the best ways to learn is by doing and by observing others who are more experienced; 2) This approach also creates an immediate sense of support and camaraderie, which is essential to any successful fitness program; 3) It also gets our members working out immediately and moving that much more quickly toward their fitness goals; and 4) It accommodates those athletes who require more time to learn some of the basic foundational moves without the requirement that they keep repeating the "foundations" course until they "master" these moves. At CrossFitN30, as soon as you think you have "mastered" a move or a WOD, we make it more challenging with the purpose of propelling you to the next level!

Is It Unsafe to WOD if You Have not "Passed" a "Foundations" Course?
It might be if you were left to your own devices during your WOD. However, at CrossFitN30, no matter how "advanced" of an athlete you are, you are not left to WOD on your own. There are at least two coaches working with each class, with eyes on every member. We work with each member throughout each class to ensure adherence to proper form and optimal intensity. Although we also time your WODs and write your times on the whiteboard, your CrossFitN30 coaches are not mere "clock watchers" and "scorekeepers." Our primary mission is to program challenging workouts, then coach each member to achieve the best result he or she can achieve in performing the workout, safely and effectively.
